A Note to Our Community

Thank you to everyone who supported our 2025 campaign for Wayzata School Board. You opened your doors to us, shared your concerns, and cast a vote on Election Day. We didn’t get the outcome we hoped for, we gained something just as important: clarity about what families in our district are experiencing and what they want for their children.

The campaign may be over, but my commitment to better schools is not. I’m more motivated than ever to keep listening, keep learning, and keep standing up for parents, students, and teachers who deserve transparency, excellence, and common sense in our classrooms.

There is meaningful work ahead — and I intend to stay engaged, build relationships, and continue advocating for practical solutions that strengthen our schools and expose the harmful ideology that has captured far too many educators in our state.

Thank you for believing in this vision. We’re just getting started.

Fairness in Girls' Athletics

Biological differences create real performance gaps, and ignoring them undermines decades of progress since Title IX. We must preserve fair competition and ensure school policies protect equal opportunities for biological girls to compete.

Classroom Funding

District expenses continue to outpace revenue. Inflation is still a problem. I will bring a pragmatic approach to the budget process that prioritizes resources for the classroom, starting with our talented Wayzata teachers.

Planning for the Future

Wayzata is growing, and the board must plan smartly—on facilities, enrollment, and budgets. We need open decision-making and genuine community input so parents, teachers, and students have a voice in shaping the district’s future.

Feedback to Action

Some teachers and parents have felt unheard. Students are looking for more representation. The board needs a consistent, transparent process for gathering feedback and building trust with the community.

Parent Involvement

Parents are a child’s first teachers, and their voices must help shape district decisions. I’ll ensure families are informed, included, and respected—because students thrive when teachers and parents are partners in their education.
